COVID-19 Update Letter

Hello Chicago Tabernacle Family!

We have been monitoring the news about the coronavirus (COVID-19) both locally and globally. With numerous confirmed cases in Illinois and with our government’s address yesterday, my wife and I, along with our leadership team, have been prayerfully considering what our role is in response to this situation.

Before sharing our response, I want to remind us of what the Bible says: “Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be shaken but endures forever. As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds His people both now and forevermore (Psalms‬ ‭125:1-2).

I am so encouraged to know that we are surrounded by the Lord. As believers, this situation is an opportunity to share the hope of Jesus Christ!

In an effort to honor our local government, Chicago Tabernacle will not be holding any gatherings until further notice. Although this means we will not gather together physically, we are grateful for the opportunities technology affords us to stay connected. Here are a few ways:

On Sundays, we will be streaming our services live at 8:30am, 10:30am and 12:30pm via Facebook and YouTube.

CT Kids will be providing digital content to engage your children during this time. Please visit our website for more information.

The Free will be connecting with our teens on Instagram @_thefree_, and our church website.

As always, you can continue to worship the Lord through the giving of your tithes and offerings on our website or text  “chicagotab” to 77977 to give.

Brothers and sisters, this is a time for the Church of Jesus Christ to rise up and share the gospel, full of the love and grace of God. Chrissy and I are praying daily for you and your families – we love you so much!

Please continue to visit our website and social media to ensure you have the most up-to-date information.

God Bless You,

Pastor Al Toledo
