Jonah

Jonah 1-3

Hello Parents and Kiddos!

Please take a few moments to watch the story of Jonah. I’ll be waiting here for you here. 🙂

Welcome back! In today’s Bible story, we learned that Obedience Leads to Blessing  Please take a few moments to review the story with your kids…

Activity:

Today we are going into the belly of a BIG fish! Well, not a real fish, that would be so silly! We are going to pretend that  we are in the belly of a fish by making a fort! Do you have a play tent or some blankets to make a fort? Great! Setup your pretend fish belly with the help of a grown up.

Go inside your fish belly and pretend you are Jonah. If you want to make it sound like the ocean. Look up “underwater whale sounds” on youtube. Parents, this would be a great time to talk about how small, smelly, and dark the belly was for Jonah.

Be sure to share your pictures with us! We miss you and would LOVE to see you in action!

Questions:

Who decided to run away from God? Jonah

What happened when Jonah decided to obey God? A blessing! God saved Nineveh!

What does obedience lead to?  Blessings!

Blessings, Ms. Kate
