John 1:12 says that all those who have received Jesus have received the right to become children of God. At Chicago Tabernacle, we strive to be a place of becoming in all that we do, as we pursue God, love with his heart, and serve others into greatness.

Through our Becoming Track, we have provided the framework for our community to become, both privately and publicly.

The Gift Of Salvation

Becoming a child of God begins when we accept the gift of salvation. We receive this gift of salvation when we decide to put our faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of our life. This is where the becoming journey begins.

Baptism

Baptism is an outward expression of an inward change: the decision to become a follower of Jesus. It is with baptism that the becoming journey at Chicago Tabernacle truly begins.

Membership

Church membership is the decision to intentionally connect and commit to a specific body of believers. Here at Chicago Tabernacle, our membership process is the means by which that connection and commitment to our community happens.

Serving

Not only do we seek to become personally at Chicago Tabernacle, we seek it for others. Through serving others into greatness within our various ministry opportunities, we create the space by which others may become.

Always Becoming

At Chicago Tabernacle, the becoming journey does not end with the Becoming Track. We are always becoming as we follow Jesus this side of eternity, and therefore the journey never ends! There are always more ways for followers of Jesus to grow and mature in Him!
