Proverbs 27:17 says, "As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another." God has not called men to be lone rangers to change the world, but brothers, aiding the Father in changing each man, then family, then church, then community - and then the world.

Who we are

As men, we are called to grow as self-feeders of God’s Word, be strong stewards in the many roles in our life, and courageously lead our homes, church, workplace and community. Because of this, the Men’s Ministry at Chicago Tabernacle is focused on sharpening and building each other up through worship, studying the Word, and connection at a variety of different events.

Becoming Groups

Becoming Groups serve as a place for our church body to gather outside of our normal Sunday and Tuesday services to seek the Lord–deepening our walk–and to connect deeply with one another.

All of our groups gather to discuss the content of the previous Sunday’s sermon. Groups will commit over the course of three months to meeting in various locations through the city.

Summer BBQ Hangout

Hello men!

What an incredible season here at Chicago Tabernacle!  We have seen God continue to grow us as men of faith, and we are looking forward to what He has for us in the future.

We are so excited for this summer and we wanted to send out a save the date for our Summer BBQ Hangout on June 29. More details will follow in a couple weeks with time and location.  Be sure to mark it down in your calendar!
