Serve Others Into Greatness

Jesus said that the greatest among you will be the servant of all. Becoming takes place as we serve others. One of our highest joys as a church is to serve others into greatness. As people on pilgrimage, we build relationships and fellowship as we pursue God and serve. Your gifts and talents can make an amazing difference in the life of the church and it would be our joy to serve alongside you.

Priority Serving Needs

There are many opportunities to serve at Chicago Tabernacle. Find out where you can start serving!

Priority Serving Need: Early Childhood

In The Treehouse, it’s our heart to raise up the next Spirit-filled generation, and that starts with the youngest among us. If you would like to make a difference in the life of a child, serve in The Treehouse!

Priority Serving Need: Elementary

In CT’s Playhouse it’s our heart to raise up the next Spirit-filled generation. You can be a part of influencing a child in a vital time of life, their elementary years. If you would like to make a difference in the life of a child, serve in CT’s Playhouse!

Priority Serving Need: The Free | Youth

Our Mission is to inspire and disciple youth to live as free people. “Live as free people, but do not use your freedom as a cover-up for evil; live as God’s slaves. Show proper respect to everyone, love the family of believers, fear God, honor the emperor. 1 Peter 2:16-17

The Free meets on Thursday and Friday nights. Each night is filled with worship, relevant teaching, and opportunities for students to build relationships with their peers and leaders.

The Free leaders have an amazing opportunity to pour into the lives of the young people of this city and be a part of raising up the next Spirit filled leaders of our world!

Priority Serving Need: Ushers

Psalm 84:10 says, “I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of wickedness.” Ushers have the privilege of being the doorkeepers of the church and meeting and greeting the body of Christ as they enter into God’s house. Although the ushers are some of the most visible servants in the church, they also play a key role in many behind the scenes preparations for our weekly services.

Priority Serving Need: Parking Team

The members of the parking ministry are the first people to have the opportunity to greet somebody as they attend the church. It is their hope and prayer that the same love of God felt during service is felt through the warm greeting of the parking attendants. They provide traffic control and shuttle service.
