Connection Team

The Connection Team serves the visitors of our church through sharing God’s genuine love and providing a welcoming environment where people can better connect to the church body and learn more about what our church has to offer. They strive to demonstrate God’s love from the moment people enter the front door to the moment they leave. The Connection Team also spends time after service in the Welcome Center getting to know visitors to the church.

Serve

Hospitality Team

The Hospitality Team brings joy to others by preparing and serving refreshments throughout the church on Sunday mornings, as well as for special events. Their desire is that people experience Jesus’ tangible love through their service.

Serve

New Visitors

The heart and mission of our New Visitors Team is to create a warm, welcoming environment for CT’s first-time visitors so they can experience the tangible love of Jesus.

Serve

Facilities Team

The Facilities Team keeps the church facility in top shape as they clean every week to prepare the Lord’s house for our weekly services. This ministry is an important stewardship of the resources God has entrusted to our care.

Serve

Parking Team

The members of the parking ministry are the first people to have the opportunity to greet somebody as they attend the church. It is their hope and prayer that the same love of God felt during service is felt through the warm greeting of the parking attendants. They provide traffic control and shuttle service.

Serve

Security Team

The goal of the security team is to simply be trained eyes and ears of the church in an effort to provide the congregation a safe and secure place to worship. They apply reasonable, basic security measures to keep all safe and to maximize the flow of ministry, undisturbed worship, and teaching that takes place at the Chicago Tabernacle.

Serve

Usher Team

Psalm 84:10 says, “I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of wickedness.” Ushers have the privilege of being the doorkeepers of the church and meeting and greeting the body of Christ as they enter into God’s house. Although the ushers are some of the most visible servants in the church, they also play a key role in many behind the scenes preparations for our weekly services.
