Daniel in the Lion’s Den

Daniel in the Lion’s Den

Daniel 6

Hello Parents and Kiddos!

Please take a few moments to watch the story of Daniel in the Lion’s Den. I’ll be waiting here for you. 🙂

Welcome back! In today’s Bible story, we learned that God always protects you!  Please take a few moments to review the story with your kids…

Activity:

Today we are going to make a lion! You will need a paper plate, orange and yellow strips of paper, a coloring utensil, and some glue!

We are going to decorate both sides of the plate. One side of the plate will be a lion with his mouth drawn open, the other side will be the lion with his mouth drawn closed. Just like in the story, God closed the mouth of the Lions!

Start off by drawing the two different faces on the plate. Next, grab your orange and yellow strips of paper and begin to paste them on the edge of your plate.

Now you have a lion! Use your lion to tell the story of Daniel in the Lion’s Den to your family and even your stuffed animals!

Questions:

Why did the king and his helpers throw Daniel in the lion’s den?  Because Daniel prayed to God and not the king! They were upset.

What miracles did God do in the lion’s den? God sent an angel to protect Daniel and shut the mouths of the lions!

Who will always protect you? God will always protect you!

Blessings, Ms. Kate
