Jesus Calms the Storm

Matthew 8:23-27; Mark 4:35-41; Luke 8:22-2

Hello Parents and Kiddos!

Please take a few moments to watch the Jesus Calms the Storm story. I’ll be waiting for you here. 🙂

Welcome back! In today’s Bible story, we learned that Jesus has power over all creation!

Please take a few moments to review the story with your kids…

Activity:

I have a fun activity planned for you!! We are going to pretend to calm the storm, just like Jesus did. Do you have a container and water? Great, that’s all you need! (If you want to be fancy, you can add blue food coloring and a toy boat or floating bath toy.)

Fill your container one third/fourth full of water. Put your hands in the “lake” and move the water to make waves. After a few moments, stop and say “SILENCE, BE STILL!” Stop moving the water. Feel free to move the container instead of putting your hands in.

Questions:

Who has all power over all creation? Jesus has power over all creation!

What is a Miracle? A Miracle is a special gift God gives us that shows his power and love!

Blessings, Ms. Kate
