Jesus Heals the Lepers

Jesus Heals the Lepers

Luke 17:11-19

Hello Parents and Kiddos!

Please take a few moments to watch the Jesus Heals the Lepers story. I’ll be waiting here for you. 🙂

Welcome back! In today’s Bible story, we learned that Jesus Healed the Lepers and that one said, “Thank you!”  Please take a few moments to review the story with your kids…

Activity:

Leprosy is a very yucky disease that makes your skin feel bad. You weren’t allowed to live with your family when you had leprosy. That’s what makes this miracle so special! Jesus healed the lepers and they were able to go back with their family!

We are going to pretend we have leprosy and that Jesus heals us! Do you have oatmeal or flour at home? Great! We will use that for this project. You want to use one part water and two parts oatmeal or flour. I used oatmeal. You want it to be sticky. Put it on your arm and pretend you have leprosy! Feel free to put as much or as little as you want. When you wipe it off, practice saying “Thank you” to Jesus!

Can you think of more things to be thankful for? I’m thankful for you!

Questions:

Who did Jesus heal? Jesus healed the ten lepers!

What is a Miracle? A Miracle is a special gift God gives us that shows his power and love!

Should we say ‘Thank You’ to Jesus? Yes! Jesus loves when we say thank you to him!

Blessings, Ms. Kate
